The project “Modern border infrastructure – a successful Carpathian region” (MOVI) began its implementation on March 1, 2020 thanks to the financial support of the ENI program of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020.
The goal of the initiative is to create a sustainable platform for efficient cross-border mobility of people and goods. This is achieved by improving transport and border infrastructure and strengthening cooperation between authorities and professional organizations. The project envisages the development of a joint Mobility Plan, covering regional plans of border regions in the field of transport and border infrastructure, development of railway and aviation connections. The initial meeting of the project partners took place on November 26, 2020, to grant the land agreement and launch the initiative “Modern border infrastructure – a successful Carpathian region” (MOVI).
